The repair to the hull exterior is now done.
What appear to be ripples in the paint are in fact reflections of the garage roof beams.
The repair is visible but its good enough to sail on.
At the end of the season I will be doing more work on her and my strip the hull back to the wood to find any other 'suspect' areas and deal with them before they become a real problem. I can then also give her a few coats of epoxy resin all over and a couple of coats of new paint to give her a 'good as new' finish.
But good enough for now and Acushla can go to the championships! Yay!
