This is a picture from day 2 of NorthWest Norfolk Week and this is the first race of the day. The wind was from the north and with the incoming tide it paid to sail into the shore and short tack up the shore. I made a good start and quickly went off on Port tack to the shore. The photo captures a point whilst I was still leading but as you can see it was very close racing. I caught the wrong end of a shift and got caught on Port and had to crash tack onto startboard. This was the point where I lost the lead. I set out too soon for the windward mark but should have tacked along the shore a litle further. I managed to retain 3rd place so not too bad a result.
